Have really enjoyed the show.
Too bad all good things come to an end.
Congrats to all for a top notch and enjoyable 6 seasons.
Good Luck and best wishes to all.
Could not resist diverting off the TransCanada to Rouleau Sask summer 2 yrs ago.
Really enjoyed the visit to the set as well. |

It was nice to see the show end with life still going on at Corner Gas. It is our hope
that it will return one day. Thanks for great Canadian comedy, you could
definitely do another 6 years.

Love you guys! Each one of you reminds me of one of my crazy relatives back in Canada. But I have to say, you could just as easily be filming in a small Texas town I've visited, running the "Country Corner" gas station/diner. Except down here they have these funny accents. I am trying to catch up, DVR-ing the middle of the night reruns on WGN. I hope they show season 6 soon. I'm so sad you are leaving us, but sure enjoyed it while it lasted.

Well done it was a great run of six years.
Thanks to everyone for signing my shirt.
If you make it to penticton bc come and say hi.
I have had the oportunity to visit Roleau aka dog river and see the set last year.
I assume this will be removed or will it stay as a tourist icon of the best canadian comedy series ever.
Hope to see the movie out soon.
All the best to a great cast and crew and to Brent for creating such a display of true canadianism.
My wife being from rural saskatchewan has related to all the characters every week.
And we always vist family there every year and se these characters in the small town of rose valley.
Brent you are from tisdale are you? They should put up a big sign as they do in most towns for famous citizens.

To all at Corner Gas, all of you have been more than awsome. Ever monday night i looked forward to watching Corner Gas. I dont know how you did it Brent but you have made the folks of Dog River seem like they are real people and that the town was real, Great Job. I think it is just amaizing how a show about a small town in Canada could have done so well. Corner Gas has brought many laughs to my life and I always watch it when ever i am felling down. Great Job to all at Corner Gas and I just want to know, why Brent did you ever end the best Canadian show in all history?
All i can say is......if Corner Gas was a drug i'd be in rehab and i would never recover. Thanks for all the laughs and great times guys.

Corner Gas has been my favorite show for six years now. The casting was amazing and the writing was hilarious. It is sad to to see the show go, butt (haha) everything has to come to an end and its good to end on a high note. Thanks Brent, Wanda, Hank, Lacey, Emma, Oscar, Karen and Davis for all the laughs over the years. Its been a GAS!
I'm gong to miss all of you.
proud to be Saskatchewan.
Austin
P.S. I never thought about it that way, but your right on the prairies there is lots to see, nothing to block your view. Got to go now my soup is here, its tomato. (still makes me laugh) |

| Hey Cast of Corner Gas,
To me Corner Gas is one of the greatest Canadian shows of all time. Me and my girls (age:4 and 7) watches the show before bedtime; and my youngest Serenity, always says she's Wanda, so I'll find myself saying I'm Hank, just to fit in. But, what blasted, I love the show from the first time I seen it, I don't get some off the States shows, but I get some down to earth Canadian fun.
I wish Corner Gas would remain on, I love all the cast and if it wasn't for PGA Golf, Hockey Night in Canada and Corner Gas, I wouldn't watch TV at all. If the cast ever came here to Nova Scotia, I'm there! Just let me know, and please don't leave and make my bedtime so boring once again.....

So now its time to say goodbye to all you jackasses. I will miss your antics and your adventures. Thanks for all the great laughs - your show reminded me of the corner garage my father worked in many years ago -it too was the social hub of a small farming community in nowhere Alberta. He shared lots of recollections on his part from segments of your show-gave me a really good insight into his earlier life. Continued good luck in all your endeavours - you will be missed.

Thanks for the laughter, Corner Gas gang!
It was so nice to have a fun show that my husband and I could safely watch with our two school-age daughters. Lots of laughs for us and lots of laughs for them too! And no profanity per se (get the F off my lawn made us all laugh hysterically). Congratulations on such a good run...you proved that Canadian-based comedy is possible! Wishing you all success in the future! |

I LOVE this show!! It has been a ritual for me when watching it! Phone gets turned off, kids are settled in bed, dog at my feet, cat on my lap - Shhhhh!! Corner Gas is on!!!
I am REALLY going to miss Dog River! BUT, the DVD's will help me get through this...LOL
Anyhoo, to the cast & crew, you have given a lot of people laughs, tears, and a legacy of what it's like to be Canadian in this world - GREAT!!!! I feel like I know you all - could call you up and ask you to go out for a beer or something! LOL
Wow - it's been a long haul, but BRENT - you have done amazing things!! And will continue to do so, eh?

You's could have ended the show in about another 10 years, and it still would have gone out on top! Corner Gas was definitely the best Canadian show on television, if not the best show on television. Corner Gas was a family show.. and there's not many of those on television anymore. Today, a lot of shows are about sex and swearing and Corner Gas was not like that (well other than Oscar saying Jackass LOL).. I think a lot of people could relate to the show because it wasn't about rich people driving fancy cars like most shows are.. it was about true Canadian's and every day people. Thanks for giving us a great 6 years! All the best to everyone in their future endeavors!! Corner Gas will definitely be one of my favourite shows... and not only because it was Canadian, but because it was a show I could watch with my children and not worry about what was going to be said or what they were going to see Thank all of you so much!!

| Monday night just isn't going to be the same. Where can you find a show that is clean with good humour anymore. When my husband curled on Monday nights, I always taped Corner Gas so that he could enjoy it either when he got home or another night. Corner Gas was a show our whole family enjoyed. It's with deepest regret that you had to go off the air, but better to go off when you are at the top. Thanks for all the great laughs. Grant and Tanis Kydd, Devon, AB |

| Watching the last episode has left me with a bit of an empty feeling inside, sort of like when you watch someone get on a plane and fly away knowing that will be the last time you get to see them. Fairwell Corner Gas. You were kind of like a second family. |

To the Cast & Crew of Corner Gas, thank you for such an amazing family comedy.
I`ve laughed so much, its the best canadian show ever. Corner Gas is the first & only canadian show that I`ve ever watched from begining to end & enjoyed every minute, never wanted it to end. Half an hour was always to short. Hopefuly there maybe a reuion show in the future. The cast are like family, I like everyone of them. I will now be enjoying Corner Gas on my complete set of DVD`s. This is a first for me to buy a complete set of DVD`s of a TV show! So I guess that tells you how much I like Corner Gas.
Again thank you everyone & I hope the best for each & everyone of you in the future.
Thanks for a job well done. :-)

Dear CORNER GAS,
in my humble opinion - excellent concept; excellent writing; excellent ensemble cast, chemistry and timing: to sum, an all around excellent achievement that provided many laughs out loud with each episode.
Very sad to see you go but maybe, just maybe the itch to get together again will become so powerful that you all succumb to collaborate on a feature length production. I can imagine that might be a difficult challenge to keep up the pace for 90+ minutes - but what an extremely hilarious ride that could be.
A spontaneous thought - Imagine the principal cast members pooling $ for a lotto ticket and winning big then taking a week off for a trip to the big city and other locales while perhaps a skeleton crew of town folk look after or not the Ruby and Corner Gas. At 10 minutes per day for the trip you are up to 70 minutes with another 30+ minutes upon your return to get everything back to Dog River normal and then to enjoy your $ and new lives however wacky or not? they will now become.
Wishing the best to you all and thank you for being you for me and the rest of your fans!

Hello gang,
Just a word to say THANKS for the enjoyment your show has brought us, it's been great fun and will continue to keep watching it. Since my favourite character is Oscar (Eric Peterson) I'm using Epeterson1 as my user name and Cornergas as password so won't ever forget 'em.
Best of luck to all of you.

It was sad night seeing another good show end its run. I have been through this countless times before with Cheers/Melrose Place/Seinfeld, etc. However, this was more upsetting because there is not much on tv anymore that spikes my interest. The reality TV shows just do not wet my pallet.
I like the show premise, because it related to anyone who grew in small town/city could relate to this cast and the episodes. Some my classic episodes where:
1. Buzz Driver
2. Happy Campers
3. Gopher It
4. Littlest Yarbo
5. Friend of Friend
6. Hurry Hard
7. Slowpitch
8. Rockon
9. Bend it like Brent
10. Queasy Rider.
I am sure the cast and crew with be successful in their venture and that Corner Gas will be a stepping stone for them. I did hear that he will be producing a show called Hiccups starring Wanda.
All the best to Brent Butt and the rest of the cast! You produce something special for Canadian TV.

Dear Brent and Cast:
You know, this is one rare occassion that I am going to sorely miss a Canadian show.I came from small town Saskatchewan and I have to say,you could not have crafted a more wonderfull show. The humour was really close to home and the characters just seemed to be right. As far as I and my family are concerned, you folks will long be remembered and are permanently etched in our minds.I love to make comparisons to shows based on how we remember them and Corner Gas is right up there with an iconic Canadian show many years ago with characters also forever etched in our minds.Bruno Gerussi and Beachcombers.
To you all,THANKYOU!!! Thanks for bringing us a show that brought such witty humour, and such good clean fun,in an era of sleaze, violence, and staged realism.God Bless you all in all you do from here on.
Sincerely:
Wayne and Mary-Ann Warner

Just wanted to give a hearty thanks. Your show has helped bring our family together, with something that we all love to watch and talk about. The kids watch the dvds before bed each night and know most episodes by heart. We call ourselves "CORNER GAS NERDS". We very much enjoyed our trip to Dog River this past summer, only disappointed as the team was on hiatus when we visited. We will be back this summer, one more time.....Good luck to you all in the future, be proud of what you have accomplished, we will be watching where you all go in the future.

To Staff and Cast of Corner Gas;
I do not write this letter lightly. I will be upfront, I am not a television fan. Let me explain. In this day and age very little of the drivel will enrich our lives, it is mind numbing and intended to turn us all in to Zombies. Your show was a show we in our circle of friends we would not miss! It gave us something to laugh at in these serious times and take our minds of the troubled times and gave us pause to think about our own lives and those around us. We are sadden to know our perdiction was right. It will not last. Did this good show decide to go home because Canadians don't know a good show when they see it or are you all tired of it? Is the station wanting room for more drivel? What is the truth!
All the best as we go to battle for your show and don't change a thing. I was hoping you could do a MASH thing!

Crap! It's all overwith :-(
Corner Gas has been the only show that I have looked forward to watching every week. It is also the only show that I have ever gone out and bought the past seasons on DVD.
It's been the excellent cast and great writting that has kept me coming back to the couch every Monday night. Although I wish they were going to be coming back next season, at least they said so long while every episodes was fresh, not forced.
One of the things that I enjoyed most about the show was that there was no laugh track; I could laugh when I found it funny. In fact that's why I had to buy the DVDs, so that I could go back and watch the shows again to catch what I missed while rolling on the floor laughing.
Great show Brent! Only in Canada could we do a show set in a small town on the prairies, with nothing in the way of your view.

Thanks for the laughs over the years, Brett, cast and crew members. Has it only been 6 seasons? My parents and I really love the dry wit every Monday night from Corner Gas. It gets us through the freezing Saskatchewan winters...burrr (-46 windchills - winter 2009). I don't know what show we'll watch on Monday nights now. However, I am buying season 1-6 DVD's.
It's been great fun to watch the characters lives take on a life of their own - because stocking gas station shelves, buying a piece of pie at the Ruby, fixing taps and refrigerator doors, getting a speeding ticket, and changing one's home into a hotel for weekend - never looks so hilariously appealing.
Corner Gas is a cherished gem like the Ruby cafe. And Rouleau is a quick drive from Regina, Sask. so it's been great to idolize the Corner Gas Humor here in Saskatchewan.
Looking forward to the movie so we can all lol again.
Thanks for putting the funny back in Monday nights! Cheers from Regina, Saskatchewan. |

Gosh! I'm in tears after watching the final episode of Corner Gas. Not since The Beachcombers has Canadian television produced such a gentle, humourous, and appealing series.
Thank you very much for six years of excellent entertainment. I am so sorry to see you go, but I am ever so greatful to have had the Corner Gas experience. You rock!
Very best wishes to the cast and crew!

| Okay, I have to say we have not enjoyed a Canadian show as much since "The Beachcombers", "The John Allan Cameron Show" and "Dear Aunt Agnes". The regret I now have is that the stiff, "Little Mosque on the Prairie", is not the one to be axed. |

Dear Corner Gas family,
Thank you for six great seasons. This last year has been particularly special because I made a career change which brought me a very crazy, bring-work-home-every-night kind of schedule. But Monday nights, my husband and I have always had our Corner Gas date. He's from here in Alberta, and admittedly doesn't get half the humour... We have really enjoyed the good clean fun and the great chemistry that you share as a cast.
I will SADLY miss the show, and the characters, very much. I'll also miss the dates with my husband. I suppose we'll have to find something else to do... BUT, I wish everyone involved with Dog River lots of success. Every Christmas for the past few years I've received the DVD sets of Corner Gas, and will anxiously await Season Six under the tree in December! Well, I won't be under the tree, I just hope the DVD will be...
Will miss you,
Denise P.

Well, I sure don't feel like being gentlemanly! We Canadians have very few shows that make us feel great as well as capture the Canadian identity. This was like "The Beachcombers" or an adult version of "The Friendly Giant" - shows that made me proud to be Canadian. I TOTALLY disagree with Brent on his decision to get us hooked and unceremoniously pull the carpet from under us. Now, what do we have left to be proud of? Nothing! All that Brent has left us with is a plethora of ugly reality shows that make me gag and a cacophony of tasteless, unfunny garbage from the south of the border. Brent, I hope you miss doing this show to such extremes that you will return to CTV, hat in hand, and revive the show with the old cast. Apparently, some people don't seem to know any better when they have good fortune, a good thing, and are on a roll. Most people would give an arm and a leg to get to the top of the ratings. I don't buy that tired-out adage that you go "at the top of the game", let the viewers be damned. Pleased stop being selfish and think about your viewers. You can tell I am PO'd. Folks, why not start a vigorous campaign to force these guys to continue? With the Internet, it can be done!

Nope, you can't make me say goodbye! I'm going to watch reruns for as long as they're on one of the 100 cable channels we have - and when some crazy country dubs you over with another language I'm going to watch those too (-:
Great Show
Great Cast
Great Crew
Cheers to you!
But what I actually came online to say was that the finale tonight had to be one of the best series closers ever done - an absolutely perfect ending - brilliant. You've successfully rocked from beginning to end - how thoroughly Canadian of you all!
Love and Luck,
Sherri

| I have to say, I have never fallen in love with a show except for corner gas, it's the only tv show that you can really feel connected to, I feel like I personally know all the characters. It's so intimate, and I don't think I will ever watch a show like this ever again. It's definently a unique, friendly and amazing show. Thank you for making my Monday nights be so amazing. There will never be any tv show as incredible and awesome as this one. Kudos to Brent and everyone on and off set. I have to say, im getting a little teary eyed writing this... I have been an incredibly huge fan since the very first episode, Im 14 years old, I've been watching since I was 8, that's almost half my life. Corner Gas has been a part of me from my first house in Edmonton, to my new house here in Vancouver and the whole 12-hour trip in between. it will always will be a part of me. I will be watching the DVDs for years to come. Corner Gas has won a place in my heart and in those of people everywhere. Thank you.

It is sad that all the good shows are the ones that have to stop. My boys who are 3 and 5 watched the show all the time, and I did not even mind the re-runs as I still laughed and related to the show. I am from Alberta and my boys mother is from Saskatchewan and they thought that it was cool that the show was based on Rouleau which is only about an 2 hours away from where there mother lives.
You will be missed by most of Canada, I am sure. I know we will. Atleast there will still be re-runs but it is not the same as the new show every week.
I hope that it was the actors decision to stop the show not the network "jack-asses" as Oscar would put it.
Hope to see you all in your next venture, good luck.
Dusty from Alberta and my two little Alberchewans, Levi (5) and Ayden (3). |

| Hi, we watched your last episode tonight, once again it was great entertainment. I watched Canada AM this morning and tonight your special with Mr. Muroney, I had tears in my eyes for the entire show. I will definitely miss the chuckles I felt for all the episodes and very sad they are at an end, so thank goodness there are reruns. It's very interesting that each actor and actress are likable, which gave you such a nice feeling when you watched it and some good laughs - what more can you ask for. To the entire cast and crew, Good Job and Thanks! Your fan, Shari Turner, Saskatoon, Canada |

| Good bye, Corner Gas. i have just finished watching your show for the last time. I own every episode from iTunes. It feels like it's gone too soon, as I only caught on to this show about a year ago. As I write this, I am horrifically sad, and am watching the CTV newscast detailing the last days of Corner Gas. I bid farewell with sadness. |

Dear Cast & crew of Corner Gas,
it has been areal pleasure to watch your show grow from the beginning to now.I love all the characters you portray & you do so in such a way that one feels able to relate to them. I almost want to leave Vancouver and move to Dog River,( is it to the north or south??) It is so rare these days to be able to watch a T.V. comedy & not have some "moral message" or have the jokes explained or to have the them made so obvious they lose the impact. No,"Corner Gas" is not Little House on the prairie or a copy of the folks on Walton Mountain,.... "Good night Emma girl", it is Canadian & down to earth believable, honest.I am sure you all had fun making the series & it shows,I get the impression that you were all friends & that the crew were probably returns for every season.I had the pleasure of working with Gabrielle Miller on a T.V.show a long time ago,it could have been "Neon Rider" or maybe a MOW,one of the O'Hara Horowitz "Misery of the week " MOWs but I remember her as a delight to work with & often wished I was working with such a cast as yourselves as I have never worked on a comedy,I am now retired so I wont get the chance but it gave me a lot of joy to watch all of you every week.( I recorded it if I was working). I wish you all every success in your future endevours.
Patrick O'Brien.

Monday nights will never be the same without Corner Gas. It has been our routine to watch you guys. The first time that I've heard that your going to end the show really makes me very sad. I always watch all the episodes of the show in DVD but realizing that there will be no more episode coming makes me cry.
My husband and I has been a big fan of your show since we came here(2006) and watched your show.We watched the previous episodes that we haven't watched in the dish. From then on we constantly watching your show every night and even in the Comedy channel. We also visited THE CORNER GAS STATION last summer (200 . It was really a good experience seeing all the location where you shoot your scenes. Anyways, thank you guys for the laughs, memories and aches(stomaches due to laughing)lol. I hope there will be a movie though eh?
Thank you! Salamat! Gracias! Mabuhay Corner Gas! God bless. ;p
